... the way the VinMan played "7 Days" [studio/orig. & live, 4 that matter] was absolutely BRILLIANT...don't know if any1 could've played it more beautifully.

Hey Fuse, Kenny played with Sting again, right before he died. That was a most excellent band!

    Ciao,

    Mike

I just ran across a MD review of Sting's...All This Time (A&M) I've been reading MD for a looong time and have rarely come across a review that was a 4 out of 10.

Ted Bonar says, "Maybe you had to be there (I wasn't), but this live recording was an absolute bore. Painful, even. Manu plays appropriately enough, of course, but gone is the magic that he brings to the table when given the chance to actually play the drums...while filled to the brim w/talent and potential, (the band) has fallen into a dark hole of antigroove. Zzzz."

    Red face

1?i think that manu it's a great drummer!;2?he have a very personal style and he's very grooving!but when they ask him to play in the stuff that vinnie recorded,it'sclear that the guy is in PAIN!!!hurts see the guy (trying)to play 7days,hounds of winter, etc.despitethe magnitude of the diference between the two,we have to understand that we can't compare vinnie and man?!but,to be fair with man?,i love the goove of englishmah in new york!!!but i also agree with u guys:the band it's weak, borring and it's,for sure, the worst band of sting ever!!!!
